Fashion Show.

SO my fashion show has a date finally. It is May 12th in Toronto at the El Almacen, an Argentinean cafe on Queen West & Dovercourt Rd. Time is TBA, but I will keep you posted.
I am selling the garments in the collection that have been made by Me and High Output Apparel.
There will be jewelry sold that goes along with the collection, free snackies, a bar (hopefully open) and  gift bag for everyone who attends! The tickets are $5 and I believe they will be purchased at the door.

Photo shoot day!!!! Also first day of Spring! 
Awesome because its my Spring/Summer 2011 collection photography day. 
(Yes, It may seem late to the fashion savvy) But I am independent and there fore I am right on schedule with the buying for small independent stores.

But now I am warn out...lack of sleep, too much coffee and not enough real food is not the best for your body.

Why don't I know these things?

On my monthly activity of googling my name I found these pictures in a blog from the summer.
Its from when I did the Frugal Fashion Design competition. We got a voucher from Goodwill and my friend Sam came with me and we picked out a treasure trove of horrible pieces. I got a lot of table cloths and curtains since they yielded the most fabric.
I created about 12 pieces, maybe 10 but I didnt like a few last minute so I ditched them.
But these are the ones that stayed. I like them. I few Im sort of proud of and a few I would honestly wear if I didnt draft in a 4/6.

Well when you dont have a drafting table. I sit on the floor hunched over like a troll spending hours cutting, taping, drawing, erasing, something that is all theoretical. Its like physics without the hard.
SO here I go. Friday night and Im living it up with my ruler and mechanical pencil.

Please some one bring me a beer.

I am excited about this collection for spring coming towards completion.
Its also exciting that I might be doing the fashion show at the Steam Whistle Brewery :)
We are gearing up for the photo shoot that will be at The Gladstone with no other than Miss Sydney Boustead.

Everything is working out well.

I even have a new friend that sits on my sewing table and aids in the creative process.

He needs a name. Any help?
